Recent stuff: GR played on Sting's CD Launch at Durham Cathedral in September -37 piece band inc. Katherine Tickell, Dominic Miller and Lisa Fisher.

On a less star studded note the Big Idea is pleased to have secured a gig in the Gatehead Jazz Fest - 27th March 2010 and we're planning another record - probably ready in about six months.

The new album features Sting singing a Graham Bond song SPRINGTIME IN THE CITY. An audio clip of this can be heard in the News section of Sting.com and clips of all the other tracks are available in the EXCLUSIVES section of the site.

There are nine other tracks: 8 originals, a Mose Alison cover and a Drum'n'Bass remix by Gerry's son Harry. It's taken nearly a year to record and mix.
